]]><![CDATA[Calling Believers to the Wall]]>Thu, 28 Jan 2021 17:22:25 GMThttps://www.mission-syracuse.com/blog/calling-believers-to-the-wallIn 2018, a California Assembly bill 2943 was proposed before state legislators. The bill
would have declared all forms of sexual orientation change efforts, or "conversion therapy" to be a form of "fraudulent business practice" if performed for a fee. AB 2943 declares “advertising, offering to engage in, or engaging in sexual orientation change efforts with an individual” is consumer fraud. The bill was so broad that it had the potential to ban books, printed materials, and advertisements that promoted information that a person facing unwanted same-sex attractions or gender confusion can change. If the church neglects our duty and abandons the political arena, this will happen in every state and nation. 

I expect that to ultimately happen as we prepare for The Great Tribulation. The question is, will it happen now, or will an active and praying church be granted a Reprieve (our 4th “R”) and hold it back for one more season of sowing and reaping?
I believe we will!

Our mandate for revival has 4 “R’s”. Our second “R” is this: 
Rebuild the wall (Nehemiah)
- Unite the church
- Prepare them for battle

That’s why Mission Syracuse is calling believers to the wall as Nehemiah did to the remnant in his day. Same scenario. Same script. Same solution. Please join us!

Two excellent messages from Charlie Kirk and Pastor Jack about our nation, it's future, and the believers' role for the days ahead. As Christians, we must remember to let our light shine before men, as Christ commanded, especially in such uncertain times (Matt 5;16)
I encourage everyone to watch the video below in it's entirety because it's educational, encouraging, and exactly what our pastors need to do. Let us pray that more of them will.
